As mentioned in a previous post, I am a huge fan of Sunbutter (a peanut butter-like substance that is peanut, tree nut, and gluten-free). It’s perfect snack for a family with food allergies.
I made some delicious Sunbutter and Hershey Kiss cookies (an old family recipe that originally required peanut butter) at Christmas and noticed that within a day or two of baking, the cookie had turned partially green. I figured if one of my cooking ingredients had expired and was turning the cookie green. Weird.
Today, I was following Sunbutter’s blog and found this entry(http://www.sunbutter.com/blog/celebrating-st-patrick%e2%80%99s-day-with-green-sunbutter-cookies) quite hilarious! Now I know how to eliminate the green factor and how to make the perfect green St. Patty’s day treats!
Great recipe. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy reading your blog. Feel free to check out our recipes.
